Karina Barberis is a film-based Irish-Italian photographer from West London.  Concerned with subjects of community, migration and culture, her work is primarily visualised through interesting characters to portray a story which feels candid and hopeful. Stylistically dancing a line between playful surrealism and social documentary street portraiture,  themes of connection, youth and heritage weave the throughline of her practise.
